Dr. Satinder Singh Rekhi

Dr. Satinder Singh Rekhi

Dr. Satinder Singh Rekhi is the founder of R Systems and a founding member of the World Happiness Foundation. He is an Electrical Engineer graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and has a master’s degree in business from California State University. He has attended several Advanced Courses from Harvard University and University of California, Berkeley. He was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT, Kharagpur and the President’s Gold Medal from California State University. He was conferred the title of Professor Emeritus by Chandigarh University. He is an Honorary Chairman, Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. International Advisor to Gross National Happiness Center, Bhutan, Gopichand Badminton Academy, EQ World, Singapore, and Rekhi Centre for Happiness, Amity University. He is a Professor of Happiness (Adjunct Faculty) with Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi, India, and Delhi Technological University, Delhi, India. He has helped many Institutes across countries to set up Centres of Happiness and Mind lab for the scientific pursuit and understanding of happiness. He is actively engaged in teaching and conducting workshops on happiness. Thousands of students, faculty and the like have benefitted by attending these sessions and continue to do so.

Dr. Manas K Mandal

‘What makes us happy’ is probably one of the greatest unanswered questions on earth, despite many philosophers, scientists and practitioners making attempts to answer this question for centuries. The Rekhi Foundation for the Science of Happiness has taken up this challenge to uncover this state of mind scientifically and to make positive interventions in human life. Dr. Manas K Mandal is a cognitive neuropsychologist serving as the distinguished visiting professor at Indian Institute of Technology – Kharagpur. He specializes in teaching the ‘Science and Practice of Happiness’, as well as the ‘Measurement of Happiness’.

Dr. Priyadarshi Patnaik is the Head of the Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness and is working as a professor at IIT Kharagpur, Humanities and Social Sciences. He teaches the ‘Communication, Happiness and Well-being’ course.

Dr. A. Srihari Krishna

Dr. A. Srihari Krishna

Dr. Srihari A. Krishna holds a doctorate in management and brings over three decades of experience in training, teaching, and consulting across academic and corporate domains. Associated with the Rekhi Foundation for Happiness for the past four years, he has designed and delivered credit courses and training programs at premier institutions including IIIT-Prayagraj, IIT-Delhi, AIIMS-Bhopal, and Delhi University. His work blends insights from positive psychology, neuroscience, and mindfulness to offer practical tools for managing stress, enhancing emotional intelligence, and promoting well-being in life and work.

Dr. Kiran Jot Singh

Dr. Kiran Jot Singh is Associate Dean (Academic Affairs) and Associate Professor at Chandigarh University. A researcher, innovator, and educator, he has led major initiatives in industry collaboration, academic innovation, and skill integration. His interdisciplinary research spans Human-Robot Interaction, Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence, resulting in numerous SCI and Scopus-indexed publications, granted patents, and books with international publishers. Dr. Singh has successfully secured multiple grants from DST India, NVIDIA, and Metacrafters. Recognized by Google, IEEE, and Texas Instruments, he actively promotes experiential learning and the science of happiness through global workshops and research collaborations.

Noof M. Aljneibi

Noof M. Aljneibi is a Quality of life and sustainability development advisor at the ministry of community development in the United Arab Emirates. Previously, she served as Director of the Emirates Centre for Happiness Research ECHR at the United Arab Emirates University. In 2021, Noof was awarded the International Positive Psychology Fellow award, and she is the first female Arab to be awarded this fellowship.

Dr. Pooja Sahni has done her doctoral research in Environment Neuroscience from I.I.T Delhi. She nurtures an interest and has publications of repute in the area of environmental science, nature experience, mindfulness, yoga and meditation. She has received several awards- ‘Invited Young Scholar’ by Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, “Bright Future Talent for Global Leadership” at DSM Global, The Netherlands, International Fellowship by UNESCO-IHE, The Netherlands and Varela Grant by Mind and life Institute, USA.

Dr. Tal Leead (PsyD) is a psychologist, best-selling author, and founder of Happier Being™. With over 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Tal is trained in a variety of psychotherapy modalities but currently focuses on positive psychology. Her first book, “Happier Being: Your Path to Optimizing Habits, Health & Happiness” was published in September of 2022 and topped several Amazon best-seller lists. Before running her own practice, Dr. Tal worked at a Los Angeles County mental health center where she advised the top medical team on best practices and increased her patients’ well-being. She received her doctorate degree in psychology (Psy.D) from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University.

Dr. Archi Banerjee

Dr. Archi Banerjee

Dr. Archi Banerjee is a student of Physics and currently pursuing her post-doctoral research in the field of Indian classical and spiritual music cognition, visual arts cognition, emotion, and aesthetics at the Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness and Academy of Classical and Folk Arts, IIT Kharagpur, India. Currently she is also working as a “Consultant – Mind Lab Research and Implementation” at the Rekhi Foundation, USA. She completed her Ph.D. in Neuro-cognitive Physics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2018. She has been awarded the prestigious INSPIRE Fellowship by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. She is also a student of vocal music for the past 23 years at Shrutinandan school of Music under the patronage of her Guru, Padma Bhushan Awardee Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty.

Shishir Arya is the Founder of HEAL Labs, a startup working towards providing mindfulness and wellbeing-based interventions to individuals as well as organizations. For the past 5+ years, Shishir has been creating and delivering courses and programs on themes of Happiness, Mindfulness, and Emotional Intelligence at institutions like IIM Ahmedabad, NLU Jodhpur, IIT Roorkee, IIM Bodhgaya, etc., for audiences that include BBA students, MBA students, Doctoral Scholars, Executives and Senior Leaders.
