REKHI FOUNDATION FOR HAPPINESS, USA

Internships on Happiness and Wellbeing during COVID19 (25 June 2020 to 24 August 2020)

Rekhi Foundation for Happiness is pleased to announce 10 paid two-months internships for the students of IIT Kharagpur during the Summer of 2020. Each internship would be for Rs.6000 pm for a period of two months. An internship certificate would also be issued by Rekhi Foundation on successful completion of internship.Any publication that emerges out of the work would include the intern as one of its authors. The interns would also get exposed to research in the frontiers of happiness and wellbeing that can help them in their future careers.

Rekhi foundation is a non-profit trust started by Satinder Singh Rekhi and his wife Harpreet Rekhi in 2016 in California, USA. It focusses on various happiness and wellbeing initiatives, on of which is the development of Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness at IIT Kharagpur.

Tracks

Internships are available in the following 4 tracks:

Track 1: COVID warriors, survivors and their wellbeing: two themes and 4 internships
Track 2: Faith, healing and wellbeing – exliloring kirtan, mantras and sliiritual traditions: 2 internships
Track 3: Exlierience of the emotion of ‘awe’ and its relevance for wellbeing: 2 internships
Track 4: New liedagogy for wellbeing during times of social distancing: 2 internships

Any UG, Dual Degree or Masters student of IIT Kharagpur is eligible to apply. The interested student should send a short 100 words write up to the following faculty members of the Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness, IIT Kharagpur, latest by 18th of June 2020 for consideration.
